    Pastoral/Finance Council
    Remember the meeting this Tuesday was canceled.
    Also - please see the below announcement for the Building Committee as it
    is intended for you also.

    Building Committee
    Two issues were still open when we finished our meeting last Tuesday.
    The first was the roof. I have decided that we will do only half the roof as
    your recommended. I am still not comfortable with it, but I do believe that
    it is the best corse of action at this time. So thank you for all your input on
    that matter.
    The second has to do with the altar. To help us come to a better
    understanding of our vision for our community, I asked the Papic’s to
    produce some renderings of the altar so we will be able to see what we are
    talking about. They did a beautiful job. I think their renderings should bring
    us to full unison on the vision. As usual, I will not give my opinion until I
    have hear all of yours. I will be sending all of you on the committee a copy
    of these renderings of the altar for you to look at. Please do not show them
    to anyone else in the community. Once we have come to a decision, then I
    will show it all to them for the first time this first Sunday at the parish
    social hour.

    renderings at the parish social hour.

    Parish Social Hour


    I would like everyone to come to the parish social hour this Oct 6th. Not just
    to show the altar, but because I have another activity in mind at the social
    hour for everyone. I do not want to tell you now. But please plan on 2 hours
    for this important day.

    Men’s Night
    This Thursday starting at 6:30 pm with Mass.
    Wives, please excuse your husbands from family dinner.
    Don’t worry, I will send him back to you a better man. :)
