We have openings for the Sanctuary Lamp
during the year, starting in February). If you

MINISTRY continues to
create handcrafted shawls for
parishioners, their families
and friends who are coping
with illness, loneliness, pain or trouble. They are
available to anyone who needs one. Call the office to
request a shawl or lap blanket or to join this ministry.

HEALING MINISTRY SUPPORT GROUP
Every second and fourth Monday of the month from
7:00-9:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Spiritual Centre, 7020

As ministers of the
marriage sacrament, husbands and wives, in their love
for one another, mirror for all of us the great love of
God in our midst.
At Cana, Jesus offers for the first time the “new wine”
of Gospel hope and re-creation. We, too, are called to
see our world with eyes of faith in order that we might
bring the possibilities of such hope – hope that
transforms hurt into reconciliation, despair into
confidence, alienation into community.

ONTARIO: STEP 2
The province of Ontario has announced a modified Step
2 to help stop the spread of the Omicron variant of
Covid-19. Larger indoor religious services, rites, or
ceremonies, including wedding services and funeral
services are limited to 50% capacity. This will not
impact our current capacity since we are required to
maintain physical distancing of six feet/two meters
which effectively allows for one-third capacity for
church services.
All diocesan and parish scheduled meetings are to
take place virtually or be postponed/cancelled. Parish
offices are to remain closed to visitors, with staff
working remotely as much as possible.
Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 is to assume
they are infected and follow provincial health
directives. Protocols for mask wearing, physical
distancing, and hand sanitizing still apply.
ST. HELEN CWL MEETING

COVID 19 pandemic
