1. Why do you think registered nurses were hired to act as flight attendants during the
early years?

By the late 1930's, United Airlines, being the first, had hired stewardess, female helpers.
These stewardesses were registered nurses and the idea was that the passengers would feel
much safer in the hands of the stewardess. Their responsibilities included attending to those
who became air sick. For all of the nurses are enlisted to help out in War, when World War
2 Began and also nurses are well known to be hospitable, reliable, honest, even-tempered,
and knowledgeable and an effective communicator

2. What has led airline companies to hire untrained women to become flight attendants?

For mostly of the travellers during the early age are soldiers from wars which were men and
also we all know that women attracts men, and women enhances the image of the airlines
for their book for flights tends to risen, although untrained were also hired because of the
traits and character they had.

3. Why is the role of flight attendants critical in ensuring the safety and security of the
passengers?

Because flight attendants must ensure that passengers are seated with their seat belts
fastened during turbulence so that they cannot be injured by being thrown about the cabin
and always check. If there are injuries or illnesses, the flight attendants must deal with these
according to the air carrier's procedures.
