1. I will personally promote/act responsibly in maintaining the ethos and culture of the
institute and ensure the same, amongst my peers
2. I recognize and will assume responsibility for my role in safeguarding the academic
integrity of the institute.
3. I will not give and/or receive aid in examinations, class assignments, in preparation of
reports and projects, or in any field work, dissertations used by the instructor/teacher as
the basis of grading;
4. I understand the seriousness of academic misconduct and commit that
a. I will not copy/cheat in exams and will not receive any dishonest support on my
assignments, projects or reports
b. I will not engage in plagiarism and falsification of data in any of my academic work
c. I will not give or receive unpermitted aid in take -home examinations and will not
represent the work of another as my work, including information available on the
Internet
5. I will not be
a. Committing a cyber offence, such as, breaking passwords and accounts, sharing
passwords, electronic copying, planting viruses in any digital devices or any other
fraudulent activities in in the online and digital platforms
b. Submitting incorrect and/or misleading information or false certificates at any point
of time, during admissions and during my studies at the Institute;
c. Involving myself in ragging, bullying, coercing views and consciously troubling
others through instigation, provocation, temperamental and bad behaviour.
6. I will abide by all the rules of the campus / Institute
a. By not involving in smoking, consumption of alcoholic drinks or any other
intoxicating substance in the class, hostel and Institute premises and I am aware that
being under its influence at any point of time/place during my studies at the Institute
is an offence which will lead to rustication, expulsion or other action as appropriate

 b. By not indulging in any form of harassment of women and persons with gender non-
normative behaviours which constitutes as sexual harassment
7. I will not create an environment of intimidation and hostility in general by affecting the
peaceful environment of the campus
8. I will not engage in any form of violence against anyone, physical, verbal or emotional
9. I will not malign the name of the institute by presenting fabricated and falsified views on
any platform, tarnishing/damaging the image of the Institute in public domain bringing
disrepute to the institute
10. I will not involve in any acts resulting in damage to the institute property and assets;
11. I will not obstruct the functioning of the Institute, offices, classes and its activities by
way of preventing faculty, officers/staff from discharging their normal duties and
enjoying their personal rights
12. I will not cause any hindrance to my fellow students in attending their classes fulfilling
their academic requirements and enjoying their personal rights
13. I accept that any act of mine, which can be considered to be in violation of any of the
provisions the Honour Code which I read, understood and sign on this day
