The Office of Enrollment at Khalifa University of Science and Technology is pleased to offer you a
Conditional Early Admission for the Fall 2021 semester. This offer is conditional based on meeting the
below listed criteria:
Attaining a minimum of 80% on final GSC score for Advanced Track, and a minimum of 95% on
final GSC score for General Track with a minimum score of 90 in Mathematics and other sciences.
(Taking in consideration that the admission requirements differ for each school system).
Attaining 1400 in English EmSAT or 6.0 in Academic IELTS or 79 in TOEFL iBT.
Passing the university placement tests and the personal interview.
Private school student must submit Grade 12 equivalency certificate.

Based on limited scholarship seats, the university will determine the type of scholarship upon final review.
More information about the scholarship and fees structure is available in the attached appendix.
The scholarships you are currently being considered for are:
Khalifa University Partial Scholarship for the Bachelor of Science programs in the College of
Engineering (50%) or the College of Arts and Sciences (75%). The student and guardian should have
committed to pay fees as invoiced by the university.
“Future Teachers” full Scholarship (100%) offered by the Ministry of Education to study the Bachelor
of Science programs in the College of Arts and Sciences. This scholarship is offered for bilingual
speakers only (Arabic and English).
Students may select their preference from the above two scholarship types.
A few outstanding students may qualify for the prestigious President Full Scholarship (100%) for the
Bachelor of Science programs in the College of Engineering or the College of Arts and Sciences. A
decision about this category will be finalized in August 2021.

Tuition Fees

The University reserves the right to change the above tuition fees. Increases in tuition fees will be limited

The academic programs consist of maximum 140 credit hours. Minimum load for full time student per
semester is 12 credits and maximum load is 18 credits. On average full time students register for 15 credit
hours per semester.

The University reserves the right to change the above housing fees. The Increase in housing fees will be

First priority for accommodation is given to full-time undergraduate UAE national students residing
more than 80km from campus.
Accommodations for both male and female.
Accommodation during the summer term is subject to availability of housing units and the scheduling of
required maintenance.
A damage deposit of AED 2,000 will be paid before the time of check-in.

Daily transportation is available with no extra cost within a defined catchment area to/from Abu Dhabi
campus.
Weekend transportation outside the catchment area will be provided to/from Abu Dhabi campus on the
Thursday evening and returning on the Saturday evening.
Daily and weekend transportation is provided if at least 4 students can be accommodated within a route.

Appendix C Important Update on COVID-19 Vaccine Requirements

Students are required to adhere to the below guidelines regarding the requirements for Fall 2021 admission.
Covide-19 vaccination is mandatory for ALL students who are admitted for Fall 2021. All students must
complete the full vaccination cycle (first dose + second dose) by 20 August.
The only exemption from this requirement will be given to students with COVID-19 vaccine exemption
certificate that is obtained from the Ministry of Health Authority and Prevention MoHap or other
authorized Government Health Authorities.
