Setting H2S alarm points to 5ppm in accordance with ISGOTT 2.3.6.4 on Riken instruments.

To whom it may concern.

Most personal gas detection instruments detecting H2S have a default first alarm point at 10ppm.

To make sure your personal Riken Keiki GX-2001 or GX-2009 and GW-2H Gaswatch instruments
are in accordance with the latest ISGOTT regulations (2.3.6.4) please follow the enclosed
instructions taking you through the process of changing alarm limits from 10 to 5ppm H2S. You
will find the same instruction in the original manual belonging to each kind of instrument.

Riken GX-2001

Please follow the enclosed instructions.

Riken GX-2009

Before following the enclosed instructions make sure to enter ALARM-P mode as described:

Press and hold both power/mode and the air button simultaneously until you hear two beeps and
the DATE window is displayed. Press the air button 4 times until the ALARM-P window is shown.
From here on you can use the enclosed instruction to change the H2S alarm points.
