WRITING TASK
As a member of the HR Department, write a set of guidelines on relationships at work for
discussion at the next board meeting

Techno21 Company

Guidelines on Workplace Relationships

To help improve the relationship between employees and

managers and also to prevent unfortunate situations, as a member

of the Human Resource management board, I would like to

suggest and give out some guidelines and regulations on the

relationship at work.

Signing a love contract

● Every employee is required to sign a love contract before

joining the company.

● To make sure that everyone is equal, the love contract must

include some specific rules for closer relationships between

workers and managers. For example, there will be no unfair

advantages during the working process.

Informing the Board of Directors if anything happens

● If any employees find out that the other person broke the

contract, they will need to tell the manager immediately in

order for the manager board to give punishments.

● When a conflict happens, do not insult or take action against

other members. Workers have to call the team leader so that

the problem can be solved.

● Under no circumstances will employees who break the rule

be forgiven and might receive a punishment such as transfer

to another position or a deduction in salary.

Annual training courses for team building and

appropriate behaviour at work

● Company will hold an activity every year for workers to join

and experience team building activities so that they can close

the gap among workers and their boss

● Having a further understanding of appropriate behaviour at

work , what employees should do or should not do to

maintain a long term relationship with the company

guidelines, please feel free to contact the HR Department through

Guidelines on Workplace Relations

As a member of the Human Resource Management Board, I would

like to recommend and distribute certain principles and regulations

on workplace interaction to help enhance the connection between

employees and managers and to prevent unfortunate

circumstances.

1. Signing a love contract

● Every new hire must sign a love contract before accepting a

position.

● The love contract must include certain special requirements

for deeper relationships between workers and supervisors to

ensure that everyone is treated equally. For example, there

will be no undue benefits throughout the working process

2. Informing the Board of Directors if anything

happens
● If any workers discover that the other person has broken the

contract, they must promptly notify the manager so that the

management board can take appropriate action.

● When a disagreement arises, avoid insulting or retaliating

against other members. Workers must contact the team

leader in order to resolve the issue.

● Employees who attempt to break the rule will not be excused

and will face disciplinary action such as a transfer to another

position or a wage reduction.

3. Annual team-building and workplace-appropriate

behavior training sessions

● Every year, the company will host a team-building exercise for

employees in order to bridge the gap between employees and

their leader.

● Having a better grasp of ethical workplace behavior and what

workers should and should not do in order to retain a long-

term relationship with the firm
