8. Manufacturer shall specify temperature rating of the belt.
9. Manufacturer shall state the belt breaking strength as a multiple (safety factor) of maximum operating tension
10. Certified splice design shall be provided by the belt manufacturer.
11. Belt manufacturer shall provide written quality control procedures for handling, storage and installation of belting and splicing materials.
12. Belt manufacturer shall provide certified splice kits with storage instructions.
13. Dated splice kit materials shall be packed in sealed, dated containers with storage instructions attached.
14. Belt manufacturer shall provide a listing of splicing contractors that are certified to perform warranty splice and repair work for the belt
manufacturer.
15. Belt manufacturer shall provide information and instructions allowing reassembly in the same order the belt was manufactured and
spooled at their facility.
16. Belt manufacturer shall provide the number of rolls, sequential order of belt rolls, and the numerical sequence of manufacture.
17. The belt branding shall be staggered in not more than 30 meter intervals on the top cover near the edge of the belt.

2. Deviation in specified belt width shall not exceed ± 1% within a roll.

14. Belt manufacturer shall provide a listing of splicing contractors that are certified to perform warranty splice and repair work for the belt
manufacturer.
15. Belt manufacturer shall provide information and instructions allowing reassembly in the same order the belt was manufactured and spooled at
their facility.
16. Belt manufacturer shall provide the number of rolls, sequential order of belt rolls, and the numerical sequence of manufacture.
17. The belt branding shall be staggered in not more than 30 meter intervals on the top cover near the edge of the belt.
18. The belt brand shall not cause deformation of the carcass structure of the belt.
19. The manufacturer shall provide test certificates in accordance with ASTM D378.
20. Belt Safety factors are 5.3 for running and 5.0 for starting and stopping.
21. The manufacturer shall be aware that in load case scenarios there may be installed guide rollers for safety purposes and NOT for running
conditions.
