Introduction of NBA ( News Broadcasting Association)

The News Broadcasters Association is a private association of different current


affairs and news television broadcasters in India.[1] It was established by
leading Indian news broadcasters in 3 July 2007. The Association was set up to deal
with ethical, operational, regulatory, technical and legal issues affecting news and
current-affairs channels. Its founding members were
1. Global Broadcast News Ltd.
2. Independent News Service Pvt. Ltd.
3. Media Content & Communication Service (India) Ltd.
4. New Delhi Television Ltd.
5. Television Eighteen India Ltd.
6. Times Global Broadcasting Company Ltd.
7. T.V. Today Network Ltd.
8. Zee News Ltd.

The News Broadcasters & Digital Association (NBDA) [Formerly known as News


Broadcasters Association (NBA)] represents the private television news, current
affairs and digital broadcasters. It is the collective voice of the news, current affairs and
digital broadcasters in India. It is an organization funded entirely by its members.
The NBDA has presently 25 leading news and current affairs broadcasters (comprising
81 news and current affairs channels) as its members. The NBDA presents a unified
and credible voice before the Government, on matters that affect the growing industry. 

The News Broadcasters Association (NBA) represents the private television news and news
broadcasters. She is the news broadcasters. She is the collective voice of the news and news
networks in India. It is an organization fully funded by its members. The NBA currently has of 77
news 27 leading news and news broadcasters (comprised of 77 news and news channels) as
members. the NBA presents a unified and credible voice to government on 1ssues affecting the
