2. Brand Traffic Tracking: Info to Input when Generating New Tracking Link
Market/Shop: Select the shop that you want to track the campaign performance of.

Campaign Type: You can choose to feature either a single shop or multiple shops.

Channel: Platform you want to run your campaign on (Facebook, Google, Instagram). You can also create your own additional
custom channel.

Ad Format: Photo, Video, Story Ads are some example of the format your ads can be in. This is dependent on the channel
selected.

Campaign Description: This is for you to name your campaign. It should only consist of alphabets, numbers and hyphen. No
spaces or special characters allowed.

Ad Content: This is for you to name your ad content. It should only consist of alphabets, numbers and hyphen. No spaces or
special characters allowed.

URL: This is the URL of your campaign's Shopee landing page. Ensure that this link entered is not shortened by URL shortener
(e.g. bitly, tinyurl) as it will affect the UTM code generation.

2. Brand Traffic Tracking: New Tracking Link can be Generated for
Universal Link or Normal Link

● The Tracking Link Generator section in MSP is used to generate utm-tagged links
● The Tracking Link Generator includes the ability to generate both Universal Link and Normal Link
● The difference between Universal Link and Normal Link are given below:

Universal Link Redirects user to Shopee app landing page to improve Total character length of the Universal Link is limited
user experience, otherwise directs user to Shopee web to 300 characters. Always test the Universal Link via
landing page. Do note that as long as the intended Ads preview in all the intended ads platforms before
Shopee web landing page opens, this is intended using it in a live campaign

Upon selecting the “Generate Universal Link” button, if this warning message appears, please reduce the characters in the Campaign Description and Ad
Content fields before selecting the “Generate Universal Link” button again. Otherwise, please generate Normal Link

If some of the URL Parameters fields have been pre-filled, click on Build a URL Parameter and fill in the Campaign Name.

In Google, set the tracking code by going to: Campaign Level
Copy the tracking parameter from the excel and enter directly into the Final URL suffix at Campaign Level. If both
Campaign Level and Ad Level are filled, Google will use the Ad Level’s tracking parameter.

2. Created via Facebook Ads Manager with ‘Catalogue Sales’ campaign objective.
