Application
This six piece tool kit has been
selected to satisfy the need for a
compact and readily available set of
tools particularly applicable to
protective relay maintenance. It is
supplied in a neat plastic pouch.
Description
Spring setting tool
This tool is used to accurately adjust
the contact gaps and pressures to the
required setting. The contact springs
are tensioned at their clamping point
to avoid kinking and deformation of
the springs.
Inspection mirror and torch
The inspection mirror and pen torch
are inspection aids. An attachment to
the torch bends the light beam,
enabling the most inaccessible parts
of the relay to be illuminated.
Ring spanner
The M5/M6 ring spanner fits various
nuts and bolt heads on the relay, in
particular the fixing clamp adjustment
and locking screws, terminals and
mountings.
