EXPERIMENT 28

Object. To determine self inductance of a given coil by Manwell's


bridge.
Apparatus required. Three resistance boxes, a standard inductance,
an audio frequcncy oscillator, head phone,
given coil and connection wires
Theory. Jts principle is based on wheatstone's bridge. Fig. 28-1
represents the clectric circuit of Maxwell's bridge. In the balanced
condition of bridge
