Holland and many others have researched the theory for more than 40 years.

The letter R can be placed at any point on the shape hexagon, but once it is placed, the order, in
clockwise, must be (R, I, A, S, E, C). For this reason, the theory is sometimes called the RIASEC
theory. Notice the order of these six types. Personality types or jobs that are next door to each
other are most alike. For example, people like the R type are most like the I types and the C types.
This is what is meant by consistency. On the other hand, types most unlike each other are across
the hexagon from each other, just as in the relationship of R and S or I and E.

According to Holland, higher degrees of consistency within the personality types can make it easier
to make career decisions and maintain career achievement and satisfaction.

As might you know or surmise from your knowledge of the six different types, there are few jobs
available that combine opposite.

The six different types or R, I, A, S, E, C can help people to make a decision such as a job preferences
based on their skill or what they really want.

And the classification on Holland is they have a different type of personality and different type of
job preferences for example I want to work in a ayala land as a sales marketer and the other they
want to work in the industrial so that is the example of the classification of the career etc.
