1. Tournament Structure
1.1. Overview
Each Team will compete against other Teams in its Region for a spot in the
PMPL MY/SG/PH Season 5. The PMPL MY/SG/PH is divided into two Seasons
per year, which each consist of an open qualifier, Regular Season and PMPL SEA
Finals. Teams will qualify to participate in each Season of the PMPL MY/SG
through various mechanisms. Top 16 teams from PMPL MY/SG Season 4 Grand
Final are directly invited to PMPL MY/SG Season 5 2021.
4 teams will be selected for entry into the PMPL MY/SG/PH Season 5 based
on placement from the respective Country Qualifiers. Teams may also be selected
to participate in the Group Stage of either Seasons based on other criteria
developed and administered by Proxima Beta Pte. Limited ("Proxima") from time
to time.
The slot distributions for the Country Qualifiers is as below:
MY: Top 2 Teams from PMPL MY/SG/PH - Malaysia Qualifier Grand Finals
SG: Top 1 Team from PMPL MY/SG/PH - Singapore Qualifier Grand Finals
PH: Top 1 Team from PMPL MY/SG/PH - Philippines Qualifier Grand Finals
1.5. Tiebreakers
In the case that two or more different players in a group have the same
amount of points and the rankings are unable to be determined, the
tiebreaker procedures will be run in the particular order:
i. Total times of winning the first placement across all Tournament
Games in the applicable stage.
ii. Total accumulated placement points across all Tournament Games
in the applicable stage.
iii. Total accumulated kills across all Tournament Games in the
applicable stage.
iv. Placement in the most recent match of the Tournament stage.
2.3. Communication
The representative of a team will need to enter the official Tournament
Discord to confirm their registration. Discord is the main medium of
communication for this tournament.
All the players in the Discord are to comply with the instructions given by the
Organizer.

Internet speed must be sufficient to both support the tournament gameplay and
also the player stream or video cam (for Grand Finals stage).
3.7. Streaming
All players of the Team that are playing in the Grand Finals Stage are
required to stream their face camera privately or unlisted through any
streaming platform that offers a private streaming option. The stream will
need to have the audio in it. These stream links are to be submitted to the
Tournament Organizer prior to the start of the official Tournament Games. These
streams have to be saved and may not be deleted without prior approval from the
Tournament Organizer.
There are 3 methods of streaming that is to be used for this tournament, in
order of preference:
A. Stream both player cam, showing the tournament device and in-game play
stream
B. Stream the in-game play stream
C. Stream the player face cam, showing the tournament device
In the case of the Internet connection being insufficient for the players to
stream any of the options above, they will be required to record them instead, with
the preferred options in the same order as above. Recorded videos need to be
uploaded and public-viewable links need to be submitted to the Tournament Crew
on the same day after the match ends.
