admission to the Graduate School and accepted into the degree program you requested.

In order to satisfy certain requirements or deficiencies specified by the Graduate School and/or by the faculty
offering your degree program, it will be necessary for you to complete or submit the following:

• I regret to inform you that you were not awarded an assistantship for at least the first year of study. You
must submit official verification that USD $32,494 is available to you for at least one year of study before
your 1-20 will be issued.
• Based on your TOEFL writing score of27, you are required to enroll in the following English Language
and Culture (ELAC) course(s) along with your academic courses: ELAC 4043. The English Language
Placement Test (ELPT) will be administered during New International Student Orientation. You may
choose to sit for this examination as making a higher score on the ELPT may change your requirement(s).
Please see the enclosed English Language Proficiency Policy - Writing Score Requirements for further
information.
• You have been provided admission for one term only pending receipt of official degree confirmation. You
must submit official degree confirmation from West Bengal University of Technology in a sealed envelope
from the university to the International Admissions Office before you will be granted registration privileges
for a second term. Please note that you will not be eligible to receive any graduate degree from the
University of Arkansas until you have submitted the requested degree confirmation.

The University of Arkansas is required to comply with the State of Arkansas two-dose measles immunization
regulation and tuberculosis screening regulation. You can access information regarding these requirements, and
how to comply, at the following web site http://health.uark.edu/NewStudents/newstudentimmun.htm. Please
complete the enclosed immunization form and return to the University's Pat Walker Health Center. Immunization
records must be on file before enrollment privileges will be granted.
