THE BEST WAY TO FIGHT AGAINTS COVID-19

The pandemic induced by the new coronavirus has devastated most of us, if not all of us.
Since the year 2020, the COVID-19 virus has been a part of our daily lives, and individuals
have developed defenses against the virus's potentially harmful effects and symptoms. In
order to avoid becoming infected with the virus, the World Health Organization has laid down
some fundamental guidelines. Let's take a closer look at these strategies for dealing with the
lethal COVID-19.

(1) Practice social distancing. Social distance is a critical method of limiting the spread of
the disease because it appears to be the primary mode of transmission. Keep at least six feet
between yourself and other people in public settings. Coughing and sneezing release airborne
particles, and this distance can help you avoid direct contact with them. Aside from this,
studies have shown that outdoor settings with adequate distance and ventilation can limit
exposure. (2) Wash your hands. COVID-19 can be prevented by adhering to appropriate
hygiene practices. Hands should be washed frequently for at least 20 seconds with soap and
water, especially after being in a public area or after spitting, coughing, or sneezing on your
hands. In the absence of soap and water, use a hand sanitizer that has at least 60% alcohol.
Scrub your hands well with the sanitizer, then pat them dry. Wash your hands before you
touch your eyes, nose, or mouth to avoid spreading germs. In addition to washing your hands,
sanitize any surfaces that are often handled. A wide range of items from tables to doorknobs
to light switches to countertops and handles are included in this category. (3) Wear a mask.
The use of face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19 has become a necessity. People
are advised to use facial coverings in public places, as studies have indicated that people with
the new coronavirus may be asymptomatic or presymptomatic. (Face masks, on the other
hand, are not a substitute for social distancing advice.) (4) Restrict your travel. Being
exposed to COVID-19 can be made more likely by frequent travel. Non-essential travel to
numerous overseas locations is advised to be avoided during the pandemic. It also cautions
travelers to consider the benefits of domestic travel against the risks: COVID-19 spreads more
easily when people travel. You and your family's health are best protected if you stay at home.
(5) Get vaccinated. Some activities that you had put on hold due to the pandemic may be
resumed once you are completely vaccinated.

Millions of individuals around the world are at risk because of the recent breakout of the
COVID-19 pandemic. We should reflect on what we've learned, reconsider our core
assumptions, and begin mapping a path toward a more sustainable society as the globe
emerges from lockdowns and enters an unparalleled period of vulnerability.
