Section 1: Executive Summary

Our Mission

Our mission at Comida Delicio is to develop and operate highly successful

restaurant by consistently exceeding our Guests’ expectations in product, service and

overall dining experience. We are committed to consistent, long-term growth in unit and

overall company earnings and to superior returns for our shareholders. We will be

committed to the company’s vision and be guided by our stated values. We will be

recognized as the leader in the casual dining industry.

The Company and Management

Comida Deliciosa is headquartered at Brgy Buenavista Municipality of

Magdalena. The company is owned by partners Romiet Capuz, Judiel Madrigalejos and

Ena Ortiz. We have an experience in Food Industry We all have experience in the food

industry just like when we did On the Job Training (OJT) when we were in Senior High

School. We were able to work as a Crew in Fast Foods and we also experienced

Catering in various types of restaurants.

The management of Comida Deliciosa consists of co-owners Romiet Capuz,

Judiel Madrigalejos and Ena Ortiz . We are partners will be taking hands-on

management roles in the company. In addition, we have assembled a board of

advisors to provide management expertise. The advisors are:

 2. Vincent Forte, Executive Assistant of Comida Deliciosa


Our Services

In a buffet service, guests can choose their food from a wider selection made

available on the buffet line. There are 4 common types of buffet service:

Simple Buffet – Guests get food from a buffet line and waiters move around to clear

tables and help guests with minor requests.

Station-type buffet – Waiters serve the beverages while guests get the other dishes

from the buffet line.

Modified deluxe buffet – Tables are set with cutlery; waiters serve the beverages, coffee

and dessert while guests get the other dishes from the buffet line.

Deluxe buffet5– Waiters serve appetisers, soup and/or salads and beverages. Guests

take the other dishes from the buffet line.

Financial Projections

The financial projection depends on important assumptions, most of which are

shown in the following table as annual assumptions. The monthly assumptions are

included in the appendices. 

Three of the more important underlying assumptions are: 

We assume a relatively strong economy, without major new recessions. Although

an ailing economy would not allow us the growth that we anticipate, we believe that it

would not drastically hurt the business because the service is economically feasible.

The 399 php session fee breaks down to 75 php per meal – a deal hard to beat at even

a fast-food restaurant for a family of four to six.


We assume that our market needs will be seasonal, with a decrease in sales during the

summer months.

Start-up Financial Requirements

We will need a large investment for this business so we will carefully estimate

and adjust how much it will cost or we should release investment for the business we

are planning.Together, the co-owners have invested 150,000 php to meet the working

capital requirements.
