Reference: Specification Manual, UENR5683, "Control Valve".

Description Of Change: An improved tightening procedure for the control valve group is now used on the
machines listed above. This tightening procedure will improve the service life of the valve.

Adaptable To: Improved tightening procedure is adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers,
and is effective in production with all products after the listed serial numbers.

understood the instruction and warnings in the relevant Operation and
Maintenance Manuals and relevant service literature. Failure to follow
the instructions or heed the warnings could result in injury or death.

Specification Manual, UENR5683, "Control Valve" has been updated with the following tightening
procedure.

1. Tighten plug (1) to 105 ± 10 N·m (77 ± 7 lb ft).

2. Tighten plunger (2) to 10 ± 1 N·m (89 ± 9 lb in).

3. Tighten Nut (3) to 47 ± 9 N·m (35 ± 7 lb ft).
