Description Of Change: A new hydraulic pump is now used on the machines listed above. The new
hydraulic pump has increased displacement to avoid the deactivation of swinging triggered by SIL fault code
1678.

Parts required to install gear pump assembly (1) are listed in Table 1.

Note: Tighten bolts (4) to 55 N·m (40.6 lb ft).

Refer to your machines Service Manual, “8. Hydraulic System” - “8.6 Pressure Checking and Setting” –
“Pilot Pressure System”, for additional information.

Note: After installation of new gear pump assembly, the servo system pressure can be slightly increased. To
have best system efficiency, adjust the system pressure to 10000 kPa (1450 psi).
