Welcome back to our very short half term. A big well done all our year 6 children who have completed their end of primary
school tests this week, we are proud of them. Thanks to parents for a great turn out at Parents' Evenings this week.

Children of the Week

There are no children of the week this week as children were only in school for 2 days last week.

SPOTLIGHT CHILDREN’S CORNER

Year 3,4 and 5 will be completing their Optional
SATs Tests in Reading, Writing and Numeracy
next week. We know that they will do their
best in the tests but to help them on their way
please ensure that they are in bed early and
are in school every day and on time.
Year 2 children will also be continuing to work
on their SATs tests so please help them to get
a good nights sleep and ensure that they are in
school everyday too.

Year 5 are heavily into practicing dance and
drama for their performance of ‘A Comedy of
Errors’ at Chorlton High School’s Blue Box
Theatre on Monday 23rd May at 7:45 pm.
Anyone who wants tickets for the performance
should contact Chorlton High School on
882 1150.
Barlow Hall children’s work will form part
in the ‘Big Art Walk’ during Chorlton Art
Festival.
Mrs Law’s Art Club children have created
a number of tall maypoles which can be
found along the route of the ‘Big Art
Walk at Point 3.
Details of the route can be found on Page
14, article 3 of the Chorlton Arts Festival
newspaper which children have brought
home this week.
Please take the opportunity to walk along
the trail and see not only the maypoles
but also the artwork of children from
other Chorlton schools.
