Lee Jeno

Lee Jeno (이제노)  is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer,
actor and host. He is a member of the South Korean boy group NCT and its
fixed sub-unit NCT Dream.
Jeno was born in Incheon, South Korea, on April 23, 2000 and later
grew up in Ilsandong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi. Since childhood, Jeno
has been a star in advertisements for several product and is used to
appering on television.
Jeno attended Hyunsan Elementary School, then continued to Hyunsan
Middle School, and School of Performing Arts Seoul as part of the fare
department before finally deciding to focus on a career in entertainment.
Jeno has began his career as a child model in various commercials in
South Korea throughtout his childhood. At the age of 13, Jeno was
introduced as one of the first member of SM Entertaiment’s pre-debut
team SM Rookies on December 3, 2013. In 2014, he made up first apprearence as a member of SM
Rookies, alongside fellow NCT members Mark, Jaemin, Haechan and Jisung, on EXO 90:2014, a reality
TV Show starting EXO. In 2015, he appreared as a Mouseketeer alongside othe SM Rookies members on
Disney Channel Korea’s show The Mickey Mouse Club, wich aired form July to December 17, 2015.
On August 24, 2016, Jeno debuted in NCT Dream, the third sub-unit of NCT. Jeno along with NCT
Dream participated in NCT’s first album, NCT 2018 Empathy, with the single “Go”. He also participated
in the single “Black on Black” of the same album as part of NCT 2018. On May 22, 2018, SBS MTV’s
The Show announced Jeno were chosen as a new MCs. Besides contributing his vocal to NCT Dream’s
songs, Jeno has explored into lyrics writing with start penned the lyrics of “Dear Dream” for the NCT
Dream’s second EP We Go Up alongside members Mark, Jaemin and Jisung. He has also written lyrics
several tracks on NCT Dream’s subsequent albums.
On March 13, 2019, Jeno alongside fellow NCT Dream members Jaemin and Jisung, repsented K-pop
start at the “K-Wave & Halal Show” in Malaysia. The friendship event between South Korea and
Malaysia, was attended by President Moon Jae-in as part of this three- day state visit to the country.
In May 2019, Jeno along with fellow NCT Dream member Jaemin, volunteered to visit children living
in slums in Indonesia, in collaboration with Non-Governmental Organizations ‘Good Neighbours
International’ and ‘Gugah Nurani Indonesia Foundation’.
On November 23, 2020, Jeno joined NCT’s rotational unit NCT U with the release of their lead tracks
“Misfit” of NCT’s second album Resonance Pt. 1, and a lead single “90’s Love” from Resonance Pt. 2.
On October 13, 2021, Jeno featured on Donghae’s song “California Love”.
