Introduction
The present report is highlighting the operational plan of BBQfun. This company is going to
implement an e-commerce strategy to increase the market share and overall profitability. In this
context, all the operations should be undertaken as per the legislation and code of conducts.
Therefore, the specific legislative and regulatory framework for the corporation will be described
in this project. In addition to this, the policies and procedures related to the operational plan of
BBQfun will also be highlighted. Besides this, the role of the operational plan in attaining
successful execution of e-commerce strategy will be explained properly in this report.
The research resource that has been used in the e-commerce strategy plan is primary and
secondary research resources. The primary research data includes the data collected through the
reviews of the customers, surveys and other general practical statistics which differs time to time
according to the need of the market and on the performance of the company.
The secondary research data includes already preserved data such as books, journals, PDF
Journals, data collected from the newspaper and magazine which is essential for the subject of e-
commerce strategy for BBQ Company (da Rosa Righi, et. al., 2018). It also includes reports and
records from government agencies and trade associations
Discussion regarding the physical requirement and procurement includes the need of the
resources such as internet services with the workplace, effective and updated computer system to
support the needs of the employees. The Technology consultant would help the company to
provide an effective solution that would help the company to enhance the performance of the
employees and would also the company to save time and effectively serve the needs of the
market in general and customers specifically (Schupp, et. al., 2018). Technology consultant
would also ensure that all the software within the systems of the computer is updated.

The BBQ fun Board of Directors and the CEO have decided to implement an e-commerce
strategy to maintain or increase market share and revenue and satisfy customer needs in line with
company strategic directions.
You have been hired as an external consultant to manage operational planning activities for BBQ
fun’s e-commerce strategy.
Under the strategy, BBQ fun would offer all products in an online store. Stock could be stored at
no extra cost at existing stores. Customers would cover delivery costs.

features and cost of e-commerce facility (meeting principle 2 of the principles governing the
procurement process in the BBQ fun Procurement Policy.

5. Develop performance indicators for operational and financial targets and amend existing
operational plans to include KPI and financial targets related to E-commerce strategy.
Develop balance scorecard for an e-commerce customer service representative including
three KPI and associated targets.
6. Contingency plan
Company name: BBQfun
Risks identified:
The first risk would be the underperformance of the employees due to which the e-
commerce strategy would fail.
The second risk is associated with the website developers and the intellectual property.
The web developers will have the coding and can misuse the information afterwards
which can be harmful for the organization.
The third risk is the risk of health and safety of the employees. As after the
implementation of e-commerce strategy, the production would be more; this may cause
health-related issue in the employees as the workload would be very much (Pereira, et.
al., 2019).

Conclusion
By examining the above-based report, it can be summarized that it is very important to create an
operational plan before implementing any strategy. This will give workers an idea about what
needs to be done by them and what are the strategies required to be implemented by them. In this
report, an operational plan for BBQfun has been framed so that they can start their business
online or implement e-commerce plan of action. Besides this, some of the legislation and norms
that should be followed by them have also been described properly so that they can ethically run
their business.
