Transport for tourist can be divided into three main categories: journeys on water, and journeys on land 1.
Within each category, there are several types of transport.

Air travel usually means a short – haul or long - haul 2. International flight 3.
Operating from large airports 4. Which in big cities often have more than one terminal 5.
Building but in some more remote places there may be little more than a small airstrip with only one simple
runway 6. For planes to land and take off. At some tourist destinations, air transport may include short
transfers or sightseeing trips by helicopter 7

Journey on water can include luxury crulses 8. wich take tourist on all-inclusive holidays of there days or
more, vivisting a number of different locattions. Passengers sleep in cabins 9. And have a full range of
services on board. They are looked after by a team of stewards 1o. with a purser 11. In overall charge of
tourist services. Ferry crossings 12. are usually much shorter journery connecting two points of land or
going between island. The ferrires will stop at a large port 13. Or a small harbour 14. Land travel is
probably the most diverse category it includes rail journeys by train 15. Departing from a large terminus
16. And stopping at stations 17. En route . passengers sit in separate carriages 18. Or coaches the most
common form of transport by road for tourist, if they don’t have their oen car, are also called coaches 20.
Or sometimes quieter roadas, or they can be used for transfers from airports and other smaller journeys. Very
often they are used for sightseeing trips when as well a driver there will be a motorways 21. To tell the
