1\Town hotels
• Location:
- on the main streets
- can be seen from more than one axis of
movement
• Accessibility :
-can be reached easily
- Located next to the train stations
-have vertical extension
- Surface parking spaces are narrow
- Must have wide yard in front of the hotel
entrance.
- Must be a landmark in the urban fabric of
the city and integrated with the
surroundings
2\ Suburbs hotels:
-The concept of place for a picnic and
spend a day or two in a different place from
home
- lower prices than hotels downtown with
more services
-wide area
-horizontal extension
Motels:
• Location: heigh ways so it can be seen
over a long distance
• Wide parking area
• Provide some entertainment elements
such as swimming pools and restaurants
Airport hotels:
• Horizontal direction
• Entrances are wide? as they receive a
large number of guests at one time.
• Some of them may be associated with
mobile access tunnel at the airport lounge
Resorts:
As in the previous types of hotel designs;
guestrooms and services are the same, but
they take a different form of distribution,
where the horizontal sense is dominant
