VLOG

Intro:
Hi guys, welcome to my channel. This is Kai and for today’s vlog I was assigned by the Senior
Management to explain to you guys how critical and creative thinking concepts and approaches
can be applied in the workplace successfully whilst simultaneously developing emotional
intelligence within your team that benefit the team and the organization.
To start with,
What is critical and creative thinking?
Critical thinking is having a meaningful question that can help you understand, analyze, and
evaluate such information you gathered while creative thinking uses logics, resourcefulness,
imagination and innovation.
In addition…
These two are not a same thing. Critical thinking seeks to assess worth or validity of something
that already exists while creative thinking tries to create something new.
How to enhance this skills?
To enhance these skills, the employer should conduct training programs and seminars that can
help the employees. Other’s success can be a motivation for every employee to overcome their
barriers to show the skills that they have.
Process..
A suitable process to monitor the skills development of individuals in the team is to review the
results of their problem-solving activities and review the creative output. By asking questions or
helping them asses their work, they will be able to gather feedbacks from each other so that they
will receive a support or they will be able to see what improvements they need to do next time
around. These feedbacks aren’t a way of invalidating their ideas but this will help to determine
their future learning needs.
Solution…
We have to implement that we should validate or freely express one's behaviour and emotions.
Ask the members to make a journal about their feelings and state there all the feelings that they
wanted to release. Establish a positive environment because it will be easy to work in a place
where you think it is safe to voice out things and you have a freedom to show your emotions.
Make every emotion valid. Always acknowledge the works of each member because in every
success work of a group is also a success work of each individual.
