Dear Parents of Grades 1 – 11 (Primary and Middle Sections)

School reopening for the Second Term on 19th April 2021
After several rounds of meetings with the Faculty and the Management, we have re-organized our
teaching-learning system.
If the Ministry of Education (MoE) continues to implement the directive for social distancing, we
will have to maintain the 50% attendance system that we had implemented last term.
However, as a way-forward we will carry out the following:
o The Groupings of A and B will continue.
o Group A will attend school on Monday and Thursday
o Group B will attend on school on Tuesday and Friday.

New work-schedule
• Lessons would be according to a Time Table.
• At the end of each period, the teacher will set an assignment which will include revision of
former work as well as questions from the day’s lesson.
• The expected time to complete each assignment will be 30 – 40 minutes.
• The students will carry out the assignment the next day at home and will use paper for their
answers.
• The papers will be collected by the teacher when she next meets the class.
• The marked papers will be returned in turn.
• The assignment marks will be recorded and used for school based assignments.
• The day’s lesson will be repeated the next day.
