Q1: Write the importance of CASVE Cycle in decision making with real life example.
1. Communication

2. Analysis

3. Synthesis

4. Valuing

5. Execution

1. Communication:

Communication is identifying the problem or gap. The gap is the decision you are trying to make. For this
to work, it needs to be as specific as possible. Ambiguity or confusion should not exist. There are two
factors which have effects communication: internal and external factors. In internal factors, the gut
feeling which you usually have of your current job belongs to it and in external factor, if you’re already in
the work force, then you would be needing an increase in income to support your family. There are
always signs in such decision-making processes. You just have to be vigilant enough.

2. Analysis:

The focus of this stage is for the individual to learn more about enhance self-knowledge (values,
interests, skills, employment preferences), increase technical knowledge (knowledge of individual
occupational, programs of study or jobs), generic information processing skills (personal decision-making
style) and metacognitions (self-talk, self-awareness and control and monitoring).

My real life example I have a technical skill about the computers network and clouds when I was seven
year old my interest in computer hardware and programming then I bought system P1 that time I build
more skills about computer hardware and software that’s time is my personal decision about decision
making after secondary education I started working and also IT certifications

3. Synthesis:

“Expanding and then narrowing my list of options”

In this stage, you are trying to elaborate on your options in order to then crystallize them into a
manageable set of options. You are essentially checking for alternatives to see if there are other areas
to explore. You can generate occupational, educational, and employment options by doing interest
inventories like the Strong Interest Inventory, or other informal assessments online, as well as by doing
informational interviews.

In the narrowing phase of this stage, you are tasked with identifying no more than three alternatives,
occupational or otherwise.
My real life example I did not get admission in bs it then I started IT certification and I change my
education career then I am doing ba business studies and then BBA and then completing It certification I
get job in IT Company

4. Valuing:

Valuing is prioritizing the alternatives. This is the main decision-making step. Now that you have
synthesized a list of everything according to your own personal opinion, now you can set aside and
value/prioritize the one option which is actually what you want to do. This is best possible done when
you analyze with the cost and benefits it provides you, your family and the society. This is where a
priority can be developed.

Although I would love to work for any multi-national big organization, but being an environmentalist I
for one would prefer a company who shares my point of view and promotes a clean and green
environment and I get first job American express and then jazz microfinance banking

5. Execution:

“Implementing my choice”

This stage is about making a plan for implementing your tentative primary choice. Three key factors in
beginning the execution of your choice include: 1. Reality testing 2. Preparation program and 3.
Employment/Education Seeking.

I will do my job from any well -know IT company.
