The thin bloods are being killed, two in the past month have been killed, the latest in a messy public
way (staked and left for the sunrise). The remaining catiff have made a huge fuss in court and so the
prince ordered the Primogen to put together a task force to look into the problem. Because the catiff are
almost universally hated by the court the primogen have gathered a group of nobodies to look into the
deaths.
After the coterie is gathered they should be put in the direction of either the crime scenes or the
remaining catiff, cat and B.O.B.
The most recent scene is on a beach in coney island, where the victim, tammy whitehall, was left
hanging from a light pole and staked. A ticket stub for the theater is in her pocket.
The earlier death happened in a parking garage in queens, where the victim Larry Davis, was drained in
his car. He was visiting family.
An investigation at either site is difficulty 9, as the person who commited the attacks left very few signs
of their presence. They left no finger prints, nor hair or even so much as footprints. The only evidence
that was left at each scene is bits of popcorn (home made kettle corn if anyone rolls 2 or more 10s)

Cat and BOB both have the same story, they believe whoever did it was watching them for a while,
things kept going missing around their communal haven, specifically some pictures and some of cats
hair got ripped out of her head during the day. The wound is still healing (weird, thought that didn't
work anymore) and with a diff 8 medicine roll looks like a rat bite.

the clues could lead a number of places:

The theater is run by the head harpy, she was entertaining a guest, the leech of clan nosferatu, as whe is
assisting her with the recovery of a play she had heard about some time ago. It was written by an addict
in a yellow notebook 20 years ago, and rumor has it that it is actually one of the greatest plays ever
written. The thin blood came by to watch a play that was being performed at the time, her mortal friend
was acting in it. Ovid's metamorphosis.
Again, investigation is difficulty 9, but this time along with the popcorn tracks, there are prints, sewer
rat prints, at each site. The sewer rat prints are noticable, the rat steped in bluish paint, and left spots at
each scene. Its enough to track, but an animal expert will have to be brought in: The Leech.

investigation leads to
When contacted the leech is dodgey, but eagerly agrees to help with the investigation. He lies to the
group about his involvement with the group to the best of his ability with a 7 dice pool, making up a
story about “the rats spoke of another who commanded them” and using any information he gained to
cover his story. At some point he will slip, saying something that doesn't add up, and reveal that he is
lying somehow. If pressed he ends the conversation and asks the coterie to leave, if attacked he runs
and dissapears into the sewers.

Simply believing the leech is involved isnt enough, evidence must be located, and it exists among the
malkavians.
Uncle Eddy knows everything.
Hes been sworn to silence tho, both with dominate and to honor a boon (eddy owed the leech a favor
for the leech planing evidence of a masquerade breach on brak). Eddy just hates the way brak treats
people (and the way brak got evidence of him hiring girls off the internet to feed from, promising them
the embrace!).

The inner circle of the tremere has fallen.

Word arrives first to the tremere of the group, a urgent message contains a .zip file containing a series
of pictures and a message that reads: “the seven have fallen, dissolve the pyramid like scattered sand.”
the next night a plane arrives from vienna, its passengers all taken to the chantry of 5 burroughs.
The mother of nightmares declairs herself high regent of the chantry, challenging anyone who
questions to a certamin.
Aisling flees to a safehouse and contacts prince helen panhard, and convinces her to not to declair
lextalionis, the blood hunt upon the mother of horrors. Aisling waits and allows the mother of horrors
to challenge the other regents, knowing any who ally with her become targets of a blood hunt once it is
under way. Aisling is careless and outs herself in public, allowing the mother of horrors to locate her
and kill her using blood magic in her astral form.
Helen becomes enraged beyond measure, marshalling the full forces of the camarilla to begin war
against the mother of horrors. Th first attack is a tragic failure, gargoyles attack destroying a number of
neonates and one ancillae. This causes the sect to pull back, its at that point the banu hakim present
themselves and offer to help. They wish to join the camarilla, and to prove themselves they bring with
them a war party ready to destroy the mother of horrors.
The second battle is intense, the “loyalist” tremere and the mother of horrors begin a masquerade
breaking assault on the stronghold of the prince, using a massive media blackout and small scale EMP
bomb the camarilla go to war, the brujah and the mafia begin attacking from armored suvs, the
nosferatu sending strike forces of leatherfaces into tremere chantries. The police begin pouring in,
assisting the tremere, and the battle rages on until the gargoyles arrive. As they begin attacking the
assamites begin to emerge and strike in few calculated strokes. The gargoyles are freed from their
blood bond by the sorcerors, and the warriors begin sniping the tremere loyalists from a series of black
helicopters. Several gargoyles begin turning on each other, attacking not only the other gargoyles but
the tremere as well.
Assamite sorcerors begin battling an astral form mother of horrors, the battle is weird and magical.
The mother of horrors falls, her astral form is destroyed leaving her body vulnerable, the coterie is
invited along and are allowed to partake in the rite of the bitter rose, with permission from the prince.
The remaining tremere in the city organize themselves into one smaller faction, under one Mr. Robbert
Dobbs called the Illuminates of Thanatos.
The coterie tremere member is offered the chance to become the new primogen to represent the clan.
The gangurel is given an opportunity to be nominated to become primogen of the clan.
The banu hakim are given a primogen, the coterie is recognized for their contributions to the sect and
are granted a better domain as well the ventrue is named as a harpy.
The brujah is offered the chance to become the new scourge.
The malkavian watches as the elders and ancillae of his clan flee from the city, citing a terrible calamity
to come. The primogen leaves the coterie's malkavian an open invitation to take her place, the head
harpy supports whoever agrees to take the position, she is distracted by the latest play her theater is
performing.
