1. Business Idea
The idea is to develop a software that scans the terms and conditions of the opened webpages
and display the major clauses of the terms in simple understandable words and language as short
crisp sentences.
This software will be a great benefit to the people as many frauds take place due to lack of
obtaining an informed consent from the users. The people don’t spend time to go through these
lengthy clauses simply because it is time consuming and also is written in a complex manner
difficult to comprehend to common people. Terms and conditions of some websites can extend
up to pages. There may be hidden conditions in these sites which may be bad to the user. This
problem is solved by our software.

2.1. Key partners

The key partners are web browser companies such are google, Mozilla, Microsoft etc. The key
resources we are acquiring from partners is the respective browser platform itself
Browser companies provides a platform where the software is added into their platform. This
enables the users of the browser to understand the terms and conditions of the websites easily
without any ambiguity. This will develop the perception of securely browsing the website.
By adding my extension to the web browsing interface users can easily understand the most
important and valid points of the terms and conditions. This will improve the privacy and data
security of users as users are in control of their data and information that share over internet. This
system also protects the users from attempts of some websites to hide important clauses in the
terms and conditions in between lengthy paragraphs in order to trick the user from reading the
whole terms and conditions.
By implementing this system as a mandatory requirement for web browser companies
governments can ensure that fraud is not happening on internet.
2.2. Key Activities
Development of the software is the major activity to be done. This requires recruitment of
software development professionals and setting up teams to manage development, maintenance
and support functions.
The software is planned to be integrated as a part web browsing platforms. The company will
enter into partnerships with web browser services providing companies. The software will be
downloadable by users. The software will be priced based on monthly subscription. Users will be
given some deductions for yearly subscriptions.
Also the web browsing companies will be charged on yearly basis for using this software on their
browsing platform. For the browser companies which has not purchased the software users will
have the option to use the browser extension and will be charged according to the duration of
use.
2.3. Key resources
The Key resources to develop the software are software developers having a good knowledge of
the programming, funds for paying the staff and computers
2.4. Value proposition
The company has two types of customer’s corporate customers and individuals. For corporate
customers the value that they obtain by using the software are credibility, goodwill and greater
number of users. For individual users using the software based on personal subscription, safety
and security is the major advantage. The risk and chance of being a victim of fraud is minimized.
The major value received by customers are safety of internet browsing and safety from data
breach.
2.5. Customer relationship
Customers will expect good support and error rectification when some error occurs. So the
company need to develop efficient customer support department.
2.6. Cost structure
The major costs involved in software development are building rent, utilities, recruitment of
employees, payment of employee salary, laptop and internet facilities. Among these employee
salary is the largest cost. These are the fixed costs
2.7. Revenue stream
Customers will pay for the services they use. Mostly customers of similar services pay
subscription fees on either monthly basis or yearly basis. The application will also have a similar
payment method.
For corporates the subscription charges will be based on subscribed functionalities. The payment
mode is regular yearly or monthly basis with a security deposit at the beginning of the agreement
period. There will be a penalty in case of breach of contact.

3. PESTEL analysis
3.1. Political
Cookie consent notice - Websites has to comply with laws regulating the use of cookies the
company has to specify what it intends to do with the cookies.
 Disclose that your site stores cookies;
 Briefly describe why your site uses cookies;
 Disclose how the information gleaned from the use of cookies is managed through a link
to your privacy policy;
 Disclose what users are agreeing to or accepting;
 Allow users to take some action to opt in, opt out, or customize their cookies or
advertising experience.
Privacy Policies and Data Storage Disclosure - Most developed countries require that sites using
cookies have a privacy policy accessible by users.
It must expressly state whether that data is kept confidential or shared with or sold to third
parties, how that data is stored, and what measures you take to protect that data. A link to your
privacy policy can be in the footer, under “About” or “Legal” in your main menu.
Terms & Conditions - What are terms of use on a website? A Terms of Use & Conditions page,
while not required by law, sets forth the rules for use of your site.
These are the things necessary by law even so the software solution will be highly relevant and
chances of obsolesce is very minute.
3.2. Economical
The cost of software development is very low compared to the returns it can produce. The major
cost is that of initial development and later on only maintenance and support needs to be
provided.
3.3. Social
The social impact of the product is high as people use the software daily. It can be implemented
on a large scale. Even a very small subscription fees collected from a large number of people will
see large profits for the firm. It also has an ethical impact as the implementation and use of this
software will prevent frauds. This will help the people to stay safe on internet and equip
themselves against unscrupulous individuals and entities.
3.4. Technological
Technologically the software uses the latest developments in AI and Machine learning
algorithms. The product is very advanced. The use of AI and machine learning imparts ability to
constantly improve and develop itself during its lifespan and hence become better itself over a
period of time.
3.5. Environmental
Environmental impact of the software is very less. The software in its own does not create any
environmentally polluting materials. However, the improper disposal of hardware can potentially
create harmful pollution on air, water and soil. To avoid this recycling of the hardware should be
done properly. The waste should be clearly classified into types and each material has to be
disposed scientifically and in the least impactful manner.
3.6. Legal
Legally the software enhances the implementation of rules and guidelines. The software makes it
easier for people to understand the data collected from them in different forms and hence to be
control of their own information. This has a deeper impact on the society. Making the use of this
software mandatory for all web browsing application will ensure fraud prevention. It will also
make people aware about the hidden clauses in the terms and conditions of the website that
people do not want to share with the external websites and individuals.
