certificates must be available on site.
…….. shall inform ………………….. about schedule of activity at least 2 days before starting before the
activity.
Prior to start activity, work permit shall be obtained from ……………….. All existing electrical
lines, underground facilities, piping and all supplementary documents shall be attached to the

necessary a road impact notice will be provided. However, no such diversion shall take place
without prior written consent.
All equipment shall be inspected and approved by main contractor, and all personnel shall be
inducted and trained before attempting work on site and have updated certificates.
Construction area shall be surrounded by hard barricade during the execution of work.
Warning signs and lighting will be posted as required and where needed. All machinery shall be

excavated in the foundation to collect surface water, and collected water shall be discharged to the
nearest rain water collector by means of submersible water pump.
Disturbed soil in the excavation base shall be leveled by hand to reach the required design elevation.
Exceed soil shall be taken away by excavator and excavation base shall be compacted via compactor. In
To obtain the desired quality of works, below listed checks and inspections shall be done:
Material:

plywood board. All surface sheathing will be done with this board.
Formwork supports, studs, wales, braces shall be constructed with dressed lumber
(pine) with cross-sections (10x10 cm) and (5x10 cm).
Form Ties approved by COMPANY will be used as specified in project.
Execution of Work:
Maintain following objectives;
Stability of the formwork (both vertically and laterally) in the initial position during
or after concreting.
Placing of Reinforcement:
Minimum concrete cover for reinforcement shall be as per the drawings.
All reinforcement shall be supported and fastened before concrete is placed and
shall be secured against displacement within permitted tolerances.
All splices will be provided as indicated in the approved for construction drawings.
Testing of concrete
A third-party laboratory as approved by the Contractor will be appointed to carry out
tests on concrete as may be applicable as per project specification.
Site Tests (Temperature, slump, unit weight and air content) of fresh concrete shall be
measured at the point of pour, prior to placement in forms. Concrete not conforming to
the requirements of the specification shall be rejected. Test sample cylinders will be
collected in accordance with project specifications.
Temperature of fresh concrete will be recorded in accordance with specification
requirement. Test Cylinders will be dated and numbered consecutively. Each cylinder of
each set will also be given an identifying tag (A, B, C, and D).
Safety Plan
Safety of men and materials is a high priority for Client. All safety measures will be observed
during the entire works. Detailed safety measures for every works will be elaborated in the
concerned JSA being submitted by safety department to tkis HSE department, however basic
account of the safety strategy is given below:
All the activities will be envisaged a week in advance and job safety requirements will be
worked out by analyzing the likely hazards and resorting to preventive.
Proper house-keeping at the end of the day is a part of the mandatory tasks assigned to
workers to avoid accidents due to littered tools and materials.
Flagmen will be engaged to control the movement of transit mixers, cranes, pumps and
other mobile equipment.
Weekly tool box talk will be conducted and brief safety measures required for the
ensuing days will be discussed.
First aid facility will be available the entire period at the work site.
It will be ensured that it is placed in full accordance to the issued for construction drawings
and documents.
The reinforcement and formwork will be inspected before concreting. It will be ensured that the
surface of formworks and reinforcement bars will be free from mud, oil, retarders, grease or any
other substance which would affect adversely the steel or concrete chemically or reduce the
bond.
Concreting will be carried out using the approved design mixes and that specified for
the structure. The concrete from approved sources only will be used for all concreting works.
The concrete pouring will be done within the initial setting time of the cement. For the purpose of
this, the time of batching as marked on the delivery sheet will be considered.
The concrete surfaces will be rendered appropriate finish to eliminate all voids and pits
unless specified otherwise in the drawings. Concrete surface will be finished as per specifications
within the initial setting time of concrete.
In the the mass pouring of the foundation slab, the concreting will be done uninterrupted so that
cold joints can be avoided.
