artwork changed your life?

Planting rice is laborious. Farmers spend most of their time in the field, caring their
plants and guarding them day and night. This painting made me reminisce the days that I spent
my childhood with. Those experiences made me realize that I’m more fortunate than the others,
because I know how hard it is to plant rice to eat for our everyday life. I learned to value every
meal of cooked rice that I eat every day, I learned to not waste food.
Take a photo or provide at least five examples of the functions of art that you can find in your
home or community and tell the philosophical importance of the artwork.

KAPARKAN FALLS OF TINEG, ABRA

This art, made and provided by mother nature will serve as a temporary therapy of tourist
and the community people of Tineg. Its fresh and clear water running down through the beautiful
stones and trunks of trees bring peace of mind and enjoyment of the people who visit it.

KAWAYAN FESTIVAL IN ABRA

Bamboo is the major industry of Abra, aside from tobacco. The festival was name
“Kawayan Festival”, a three-day traditional celebration starting every 6th of March. It features a
grand cultural parade of beautiful and creative floats and handicrafts made of bamboo. There are
also trade fairs, cultural presentations, Balikbayan nights, and fashion shows. Sakuting dance is a
much-awaited activity where dance performers are group of men using bamboo sticks.

TINGGUIAN “MALONG” IN TINEG ABRA

Tingguian designs are largely linear and simple, but are assigned with many meanings.
Some textiles are reserved for use only during special occasions such as birth-giving, nuptials,
and harvesting. The vividness of colors in this shroud only suggests the level of mastery they
have in controlling the strength of the dyes they make from readily available sources around
them.

In many years of waiting, the people of the municipality of Tineg are happy to welcome
such beautiful municipal hall. Improvements of buildings and the roads are great gifts that the
people of Tineg are thankful to have for the next few years.

This is where the people of Tineg goes to scheduled check-ups and ask medicines from
the registered doctors and nurses of the RHU. Regular check-ups and free medicines.
