Questions 4 and 5 are based on the following case study.

A Case Study

The teachers of Community High School researched the study habits of flfth form students in
their school for a period of one month. These students were preparing for the CSEC examina-
tions. The study habits of 50 boys and 50 girls were investigated. Questionnaires were given
to each of the students in the sample. Every student returned his or her questionnaire.

One of the questions on the questionnaire focused on the time of the day students did homework
assignments. 15 boys and 10 girls said as soon as they got home; 5 boys and20 girls said after
eating dinner; 10 boys and 15 girls said after taking a nap and 20 boys and 5 girls said early in
the morning.

The teachers summarized the information from the responses using tables and graphs for analysis.
