User instrucƟons

General
The FB fan is a radial fan for the evacua on of gases,
smoke and low weight par cles. The fan series
conforms to the protec on and safety regula ons in
the EU's Machinery Direc ve. The fans boast high
levels of quality and opera onal reliability. ALL fans
undergo inspec on and test opera on before leaving
the factory. However, risks can arise with any fan if:
- it is not installed, used or maintained by trained
personnel.
- it is not used in the intended manner.

The one phase motor is equipped with double

capacitors. When the fan is not opera ng in full
running speed, i.e. during the start-up and shut down
process, the motor produces a mechanical sound,
deriving from the switch between the two capacitors.
This is a normal sound and it is not harmful for the
motor.
