IV. Generalization
Scientific method is a process or series of steps that allows us to arrive at a tested and
proven answer. The sequence of steps also allows the conclusion or answer to be double-
checking or validated by others. The following are the steps of the scientific method: (1)
observation and identification of the problem, (2) formulation of hypothesis, (3) testing
the hypothesis, (4) collection, analysis and interpretation of data, and (5) stating the
conclusion.
