Responsible for quality data gathering, review of field fixed equipment & piping inspection reports,

P roject Description:
I. Circuitization Workflow:
 Inspection and Interpretation of P&IDs, Plant Plot Plans, Graphical charts & Process flow
diagrams to extract the Process data.
 Establish Piping boundaries by interpreting P&IDs and PFDs.
 Identifying and classifying the Piping tags into their respective circuits.
 Assigning circuit criticalities for the Fluid services.
 Preparation of Line List of all piping tags of the plant.
 Identification of material of construction of pipes based on Line Specification provided by the
Plant.

II. RBI Equipment Strategy Development & Optimization (Pressure Equipment):


 Involved in performing risk evaluation and determine the time frame under consideration for
repair and replacement.
 Reviewing historical inspection reports and summarize the bad actors, repair history, process
upset and process change over information if any.
 Reviewing existing equipment strategy for unmitigated risk level and risk mitigation
phenomenon.
 Validating expected degradation mechanisms based on process and equipment type.
 Performing probability assessment for the active damage mechanisms. Validating credible
probability reduction factors.
 Performing consequence assessment with reference to ExxonMobil Criticality Assessment
procedure in GE-APM.
 Familiar in evaluating fire/explosive, toxic, burn, environment and public consequence as per
ExxonMobil standard.
 Responsible for evaluating un-mitigated risk and assigning inspection task & inspection interval
for further reduction of risk to acceptable level.
 Responsible for preparation of inspection work pack, TML sketch and review of identified TMLs
cover all the areas to mitigate the damage mechanism.

III. Inspection and Thickness management for Piping and Pressure Equipment:
 Creating Inspection work pack for pressure equipment & Piping based on the operating
conditions, history and maintenance of equipment to carry out assessment plan based on
damage mechanism affecting the equipment.
 Executing Visual inspections management and analysis, Thickness inspections management
and analysis, Corrosion management and analysis.
 Establishing degradation evaluations related to pressure equipment, heat exchangers, piping
circuits, fired equipment, flares, above ground storage tanks and pressure relief devices.
 Reviewing NDT reports to calculate minimum thickness of pressure equipment and piping using
ASME section II, VIII and ASME 31.3 standards to calculate corrosion rate and remaining life of
the equipment.
 Reviewing Design documents, General assembly drawing (GA), Data sheets (DS), manufacture
record book, Fabrication Drawings, equipment strategy, inspection reports of the equipment
to plan integrity of the equipment based RBI recommended practice.
 Reviewing PFD, P&ID, isometric drawing for inspection and TML markups and identify services
and categorize for inspection.
 Performing integrity analysis based on maintenance and NDT reports and to report damage
class verification for inspections and to give recommendations for repair/replace of the
equipment and Follow-up inspection.
 Updating the equipment feature data to GE-APM tool to plan shutdown strategy and periodic
maintenance and inspection.
 Monitoring and surveillance of integrity parameters to ensure reliable operations,
troubleshooting, root cause analysis and integrity recommendation stewardship.
 Identifying bad actors and analyzing to reduce equipment downtime. Overall integrity
effectiveness and management including criticality assessments, timely review of inspection
findings.
 Performing regional oversight and stewardship of integrity work product metrics for quality,
effectiveness and efficiency in achieving business unit/manufacturing site objectives.
 Propose the recommendation of inspection methods on equipment, record maintenance and
regulation of inspection methods and resolution of site related issues.
 Coordination and communication between various global centers and business affiliates for
various aspects like, knowledge transfer, sharing learnings, skill management and maintaining
business relationships.

IV. Pressure vessel modelling using PV Elite:


 Modelling the Pressure vessel component and addressing all of the wall thickness rules and
stress analysis requirements for vertical towers, horizontal vessels and heat exchangers.
