Electric drills are used for countless tasks, from drilling holes to mixing paint. The numerous amounts of
attachments that can be used with the drill make it one of the most versatile tools in any workplace or
home. The drill uses an electric motor to spin a rotating chuck that continues to spin if the trigger is held
down.
Tools Needed:
Drill (Cordless or Corded)
Attachment/Attachments
Chuck Key (If needed)
Wear proper eye protection
Remove loose clothing and jewelry Make sure chuck is tightened
Keep hair away from spinning bit Use caution drill may be hot after use
Refusal to follow these safety guidelines could result in injury and possible damage to product
1. Assess task to make sure you don’t need something more powerful or if drill is too strong
2. Assess which drill bit will be best for the situation
3. Take drill out of case
4. Insert power cord or battery
5. Loosen chuck (May require chuck key)
Note: This drill has a keyless chuck, put one hand on
the drill and the other on the chuck and twist the
chuck to tighten or loosen.
Note: Instructions may differ from task. For example, these instructions work for drilling holes and
drilling in screws but may not work out for mixing paint with the paint mixer attachment, or various
other attachments.
