Introduction- Career planning is process of exploration and planning of what skills they need
to develop and learn. It is implied as short- and long-term goals for the job that individuals want
to persuade on the basis of their interests, values, talents and personality. Career planning also
safe people from becoming the victim of change as new software or technology has developed as
once, they have plan they will easily manage their career and take advantage of change.

Summary- As I am pursuing General Business diploma because the job I want to have in
future is becoming business owner. The main duties to run business are planning, managing
financing and satisfying staff and customers. The nature of work is you don’t have to work under
someone and you are the one who is making decision. To achieve my goal of having my own
business I did research and make the career plan and general business diploma is the first step of
career plan which is going to finish in 2022. After completing general business diploma for next
two years I will be working in company where I can gain experience regarding how to manage
business also develop and learn the skills regarding leadership, communication , accounting and
also look for training program online related to my field. Moreover I will learn skills regarding
how to safe money and regarding how to do investment money so you it to safe money and buy
business. I will also visit my parents, family and friends in India in last three or four month of
those two years. After coming back from India I will apply for Master in business administration
degree In Lamar university in Texas , America which is 2year course and will be working in
same company and will be trying to get promotion to senior post. This is the most important step
in my career plan. In these 2 years I will gain further knowledge related to business and
understanding other investment techniques by majoring in finance. I will participate in
opportunities to create and develop new business unit. Moreover, I like to be involved in area
where I get new opportunities and competition to participate. On the other hand I will need to
improve my communication skills and learn new languages. After completing MBA I will invest
my money in buying building in area which I select after doing research and take advice for my
family to run business and take decision regarding business I want to do .

CONCLUSION- . While doing research for career and making career plan I gain knowledge
regarding many other type of jobs like business analyst, project management and finance
management and many other skills which I can learn as a backup or second source for income.
After doing research and making career plan I feel that this career of running my own business is
good fit for me as I do not need to work under anyone, can work with people I want to work,
take risk, having more flexibility, challenge your self-regarding work and I can follow my
passion also work with my family.
