PERFORMANCE TASK:
The Philippine government is implementing travel restrictions which led to the booming of online businesses.
Merchandising companies attract customers through different promos or discounts. Subsequently, most of the
consumers become impulsive and give in to those marketing strategies. You, a public relations (PR) manager in a
financial consulting company, are tasked to create an advertisement targeting Filipinos in the labor force to be
responsible consumers. Specifically, the purpose of the said advertisement is to raise public awareness about the
effects of trends and their relation to various networks, and to promote the company’s services. The PR department
will evaluate your pamphlet through the following: content, accuracy, creativity, and persuasiveness.
• A trend is a product or idea that stayed through time because of the benefits people get.
