34. Today is April 8th 2021 and it’s another fun and exciting day to learn.

35. Even if we are still in the middle of crisis due to pandemic, the

36. Department of Education, with its main goal to deliver accessible

37. and quality education, firmly reiterates that EDUCATION MUST

38. CONTINUE. Reason why La Paz National High School is

39. using blended learning approach through which learners

40. may learn from printed or digital modules, radio and learning activity

41. sheets, or even live streaming which we are currently doing right now.

60. senior high school learners will be able to listen and

61. learn from the following learning areas:

62. First we have Discipline and Ideas of Social Sciences for Grade 11

63. to be discussed by Ma’am Vinna Mared D. Clemente.

64. Next we have the continuation of Statistics and Probability to be

65. discussed by Ma’am Aimee L. Juatco.


66. And for Grade 12 learners, we have Applied Economics to be delivered

67. by Ma’am Raquel D. Luzung. And Entrepreneurship will be discussed

68. by Ma’am Anamarie V. Valdoz.

70. Now to remind everyone in keeping our safety and well-being, we will

71. not get tired of reminding you especially our students to strictly follow

72. safety health protocols due to continuous surge of COVID 19 cases in

73. the province. We encourage everyone to practice good hand hygiene.

74. Wash your hands with water and soap for at least 20 seconds. If you

75. can’t use soap and water, hand sanitizer is a good alternative. Make

76. sure sanitizer is 70% alcohol. Always wear face mask and face shield

77. properly whenever you go outside and deal with other people. Make

sure

78. that your face mask and face shield cover your nose and mouth.

79. Practice social distancing. Maintain 6ft distance from each other

and

80. avoid crowded places. If you don’t have important thing to do outside

81. it’s always better for you to stay home.

83. Announcement. To all incoming Grade 7 and Grade 11 students,

84. there is an ongoing early registration for School Year 2021-2022.

85. Which was actually started last March 26, 2021 and still going on

until

86. April 30, 2021. So if you are an incoming Grade 7 or Grade 11

student,
87. There are two ways for you to register. You may register online or

offline.

88. For online, just visit our school’s facebook page La Paz National High

89. School and La Paz National High School – SHS look for the link.

There

90. is an intended link for Grades 7 and 11 learners. Just click the link

and

91. fill out the needed information. If you don’t have internet connection,

92. you may register offline. Parents and Guardians may visit our school.

93. But please observe safety health protocols before entering the school

94. premises. Go to the guard house where you may ask for a printed

95. registration form, fill out the needed information and drop it in

96. the drop boxes provided. Again, schools and the public are reminded

to

97. follow precautionary measures against COVID 19 transmission for the

98. early registration activity. GRADES 8, 9, 10, and 12 are considered

pre-

99. registered and will not need to participate in the early registration.

101. For incoming Grade 11 learners, you may choose your strand.

102. La Paz National High School is offering the following strands:

103. For Academic Track, we have:

104. STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

105. You may choose this strand if you want to become a future engineers,

106. doctors, nurses, scientists, technologists, and the like.


107. ABM – Accountancy, Business and Management, if you are business-

108. minded, or you want to be an accountant, this strand is for you.

109. HUMSS – Humanities and Social Sciences is for those who want to

110. become teachers, criminologists, social workers, and the like. Then,

111. GAS – General Academic Strand is offered for those who are still

112. undecided of what career path they will take.

113. For Technical Vocational Track, we have

114. Bread and Pastry, Hair Dressing, EIM or Electrical, Installation, and

115. Maintainance, and SMAW or Shielded Metal Arc Welding. You may

116. choose this strands if you are planning to work right after you

graduate

117. from Senior High School.

119. By the way with regard to the distribution of modules, we will be

120. having the distribution of Modules and Learning Activity sheets next

121. week on Monday April 12, 2021.

122. And we will also release class cards at the same time.

125. a place in your home where you feel comfortable and safe,

126. please prepare your paper or notebook, pencil or pen, learning activity
