THE WORLD IS A SMALLER PLACE THESE DAYS

Good afternoon to everybody. Respected mam/sir My dear friends I Chinmaya Ranjan of class 7 had
like to divulge my ideas with you on my chosen topic which is “THE WORLD IS A SMALLER PLACE
THESE DAYS”

 The word “world” represents the whole of human civilisation since the beginning of
time.
 Globalisation has played a large part in moving our seemingly large world shrink.
 Three things make smaller place to the world.
1. Firstly, First thanks to John wright Brothers who invented aircraft for which we
can travel easily any destination place at the world.
2. Secondly The most culprit one is technology, invention of gadgets
3. Thirdly The biggest breakthrough was done by Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of
Facebook, where we connected with so many friends all over the world we can
see them, we can talk each other.
 It is Just like the two mountains that are connected with one bridge that is internet and Wi-
Fi.
 We will be connected forever. The world is going to smaller place day by day
 In other word I can strongly say that aeroplanes, high speed railway lines, cars etc have
revolutionized the way people travel.
 With mobile phones people are able to communicate with people anywhere on the globe in
a matter of seconds
 Another strong point is that the spread of the internet and growing number of satellites,
people can across information on events taking place in far off places in matter of seconds.
 Hence, I support the view that the world is a smaller place these days.
 So, I conclude my voice and thank to respected mam and sir to give me an opportunity to
speak on the topic “The world is a smaller place these days”
