About the Spelling Bee

These Spelling Bee lists contain the key vocabulary from each unit of
Oxford Discover Level 1, ordered alphabetically.

Help your students to practice their spelling of this vocabulary using the
Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check method. For each word, students look and
say the word, then cover it with their hand, and write the spelling in the
space provided. The writing space can be used to attempt the target word
several times, checking in between, or to add a sentence to help
with meaning.
