The Beach hotel will be committed to giving its visitors services of high quality in a comfortable
decent setting. It will appreciate the area in the confined community and also it will work to
protect that environment and establish stable relationships. The Palm Resort will also strive
continuously to establish value for both investors and owners through creating teamwork, trust,
and loyalty within its settings.
1.2 Objectives
Our objective market strategy is selling the unique services and products that will be offered to
our visitors. We aim at directing our customer’s focus on the quality issues and monetary value
as opposed to the costs line concerning their time spent in the hotel.
The hotel comprises 10 to 25 rooms which are comfortable and modest. The resort specializes in
corporate client and tourists servicing. It serves mainly the organization community, and the
company’s travelers, in Panama.
Our clients are mainly corporate contracted clients who originate from both domestic and
internal markets from Europe, Latin America, and North America (Canada & USA).
2.2.1 Strengths
The Resort's strengths are:
Presences of a team that is trained properly, proud of their organization, and promotes the value
of the brand. Also, the availability of travel trade markets, and excellent quality services.
2.2.2 Weaknesses
The Resort's weaknesses are:
Capital investments arise from the need for the credit lines approval by the local banks to fund
the start-up capital for business facilities construction. Seasonal fluctuations of revenues
experienced from the flow cycle of tourists happen within the summer-spring seasons.
2.2.3 Opportunities
The opportunities of the Hotel can be seen as:
There is no direct competition existing currently, as per the SPA package and the business is
conveniently located at the beach.
2.2.4 Threats
The hotel threats are as follows:
The possibility of a competitive business brand to arise in the market with the same kind of
products. And also, difficulties experienced from the recession of the business may take time.
