1.0 Customize and build drones Overall Project

1.1 Initiating
1.1.1 Develop Scope and Plan Prepare the Statement of Work, Project Cost Estimate, Schedule,
and other Baseline Documents.
1.1.2 Legal contract Negotiation Prepare legal contract and payment plan.
1.1.3 Engage Stakeholders Communication with Project Stakeholders including status reports,
discussions on scope, get approval and signed contracts.

1.2 Planning
1.2.1 Mobile app and order-handling system Design Customize existing system that handles order entry, delivery
confirmation and a mobile app. Preparation of relevant document for
approval.
1.2.2 Drone Design Compile Engineering Design requirements for drone and design
custom Temperature/Shock Protection Product Carrier. Preparation
of relevant document for approval.
1.2.3 Cost Estimation Preparation of a detailed cost estimate for the procurement and
construction of the drone, order-handing system and mobile app based
on the Systems Design.
1.2.4 Risk Management Plan Prepare to foresee risks, estimate impacts, and define responses to
risks like security breach of Wilmont’s business information.
1.2.5 Stakeholder Management Plan Build stakeholder register, stakeholder engagement matrix and
communication plan. Plan team and stakeholder meetings.
1.2.5 Design Approval Obtain approval from Wilmont’s on drone, order system and app
design, make sure all requirements are met.

1.3 Construction
1.3.1 Perform procurement Purchase drones and additional materials. Control labour costs and
material costs.
1.3.2 Construct customized drones Construct drone according to approved design.
1.3.3 Program mobile app and order-handling system Build mobile app and order-handling system according to approved
design.
1.3.4 Develop enhanced drone flight technology Flight path engineering and enhanced drone flight technology
needed for delivery and drone control to ensure safe and efficient
delivery of goods.
1.3.4 Perform Quality Assurance Perform quality assurance to detect defects and mistakes in drones
and software.

1.4 Testing
1.4.1 Test drones Drones need to be tested for proper operation. The issues need to be
resolved accordingly.
1.4.2 Test mobile app and order-handling system Order handling system need to be tested for proper operation. The
issues need to be resolved accordingly.

1.5 Implementation
1.5.1 Piloting drone and product delivery Use of enhanced flight technology to ensure safe delivery of goods.
1.5.2 User Training Pharmacy Manager Drone Delivery operations procedures training,
Development of manuals
1.5.3 Drone Maintenance/repair Drones need to be maintained and repaired if necessary, for the entire
duration of the project.

1.6 Close out


1.6.1 Engage stakeholders Engage key stakeholders to get approval to close project and move
to next phase.
