Our updated logo

Introducing our updated logo

With the introduction of the revised Anglia exams we are also taking this
opportunity to update our logo, which has now been with us for over 20
years. While wanting to refresh and modernise the logo, we felt it was
important to retain our identity. Therefore, we have kept the image of
the world from the previous logo as a central feature of the new design.

By using a frame in combination with a lighter colour blue, we have

modernised the look of the logo significantly and with the white border
around it, it works well on both white and other background colours.
The new framed logo will also allow us to work more easily on future
online developments.

Our updated but recognisable logo reflects the changes made to our
revised but recognisable examination papers.

Our aim is to continue to develop our international brand in our local

markets and grow Anglia Examinations worldwide.

Colours

The primary colour is a sky colour blue; this is the core colour of Anglia, as
shown in the logo. We’ve chosen this colour to give the brand a fresher and
more modern look.

The darker colour blue and yellow are also important colours in the Anglia
branding. The darker blue and the yellow can be used in design features when
producing marketing material for Anglia.

Social Media

Please keep in mind who you are targeting and what you intend the posts to
achieve. Remember that social media is supposed to be a conversation not
just one sided, and with this in mind try to ask questions and engage your
audience rather than just have information.

Facebook
Facebook is for fun, informative posts. Such as exam advice or preparation,
games and quizzes and facts all with the subject of English language. Can
also reflect local news, exam dates, competitions and shares from other
websites on the subject of British culture or language. Take into account
your customers interests. Why do they take the exams? Is it for aspirational
means or recreational value?
The audience here tends to be teachers wanting resources or students
looking for information about what the brand is about.
All HQ Facebook posts are there to be shared to your local pages. You can
share posts from other sites, but make sure the content is relevant and in
keeping with the Anglia brand.

Anglia Examinations | Brand Guidelines v.6

LinkedIn
LinkedIn takes more a serious tone. This is mainly for business use and the
posts should address a professional audience. Company news, jobs and
exams are typical subject area for this medium.
Facebook and LinkedIn have very different target audiences and therefore
you will need to design your posts differently to attract your audience and
make an impact. Please try to stay consistent and if you are sharing posts,
stay with the same format. For instance if HQ post on Facebook please do
not share this same post on LinkedIn.

For more information or advice on social media, please see the

presentation video on the franchise page on the website. All the Facebook
posts are also available on the website as image files and as the original
Photoshop files so you can edit and reuse or use for other marketing
material.
In regards to all pictures, graphics and photographs, please keep the
perspective the same as the initial image to maintain a professional
appearance.

Anglia Packaging Tape

Anglia packaging tape is to be used

as an addition to a box you are
sending. This will easily identify the
box and gives it a professional look
for the customer.

Wrap the tape around the middle of

the width of the box once. Make sure
you cut the tape at the end of the
logo.
