1. General
It has been established that the locking heel in the safety pedal could break.
This could cause the safety pedal to malfunction.
This is regarded as a significant safety risk on the part of TMHE Mjölby, which
is why the following action must be taken as soon as possible.

2. Procedure

2.1 Replacing safety pedal


1. Switch off the truck and withdraw the battery cut out connector.
2. Loosen the connector unit from the pedal unit (b).
3. Open up the pedal by loosening the locking heel in front of the pedal us-
ing a screwdriver.
4. Remove the pedal's mounting screws (allen 5mm) for ergo and (torx T30)
for Std if the pedal is to be changed.
5. Reassemble in reverse order.
6. Test the function by driving the truck and at the same time remove the
foot from the pedal. The truck should come to a complete stop.

4.1 Warranty
Yes, reimbursement is made for parts as well as a maximum of 20 minutes of
labour.

4.2 Completion
The measures must be carried out and reported no later than 30.04.10

4.3 Reporting
Feedback must take place via the guarantee system for project number
52154 and C-kod 5300.
