INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES


1.Admission to the examination is provisional.
2.Punctuality in Attendance: Candidates should be present at the examination hall at the time given in the call letter. Candidates arriving late will not be permitted to enter
the Examination Hall.
3.Call letter/Admit Card to be Surrendered: Affix firmly a copy of your recent passport size photograph in the space provided for it in the call letter and bring it with you along
with photo identity proof in original and a photocopy when you come to the venue for the examination. You will not be permitted to appear for the examination if you come
without the photo identity proof in original and a photocopy, call letter or without the photograph affixed on the call letter. You will be required to sign in the space provided
for candidate’s signature on your call letter in the presence of the invigilator in the examination hall. You should hand over your call letter along with the photocopy of photo
identity proof to the invigilator in the examination hall, when he/she collects the call letters from the candidates.
4.Compliance with Instructions: You should download “Examination Instruction” from the Bank’s website and go through meticulously to understand the process of
appearing in the examination. Your downloading of this Admit card/Call letter shall be presumed, that you have understood the instructions. You should also scrupulously
follow the instructions given by the invigilators at all the stages of the examination for which you have been called. If you violate the instructions, you will be disqualified and
may also be asked to leave the examination hall.
5.Use of Books, Notes, Calculators & Cell Phones and other IT gadgets: Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises
where the examination/interview is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action including ban from
future examinations. Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned item including mobile phones/ pagers to the venue of the
examination/interview, as arrangement for safekeeping cannot be assured. Candidates are not permitted to use or have in possession of calculators in examination
premises.
6.Do not leave your seat unless you are allowed. 7.Use of Stationery: You must bring stationery such as pencils, BLACK ball point pens with you. 8.Rough work to be done
on the sheet provided: You should do all the necessary rough work on sheet provided at the end of the question paper only.
9.Candidates are to adhere and strictly follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour. Candidates are to wear mask properly and should not
remove their mask during the entire examination duration.
10. Copying/Misconduct/Unfair Practices :If a candidate is / has been found guilty of - i)Copying or allowing copying; ii) Using unfair means during the test; iii) Impersonating
or procuring impersonation by any person; iv) Misbehaving at the examination venue; v) Disclosing, publishing reproducing, transmitting, storing or facilitating transmission
and storage of test contents in any form or any information therein in whole or part thereof or by any means verbal or written, electronic or mechanical or taking away the
papers supplied in the examination hall or found to be in unauthorised possession of test content; vi) Resorting to any other irregular or improper means; vii) Obtaining
support of his/her candidature by any means. He/she will, in addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution, be liable to - (a) disqualification from
selectionprocess. (b) Be debarred permanently/for specific period from any examination or selection by the Bank. Candidates are warned against filling up / furnishing false,
tampered / fabricated information or suppressing material information.
11. In their own interest, candidates are advised to visit their examination well in advance and acquaint themselves with the venue properly. Bank shall not be responsible
for late arrival of the candidates due to traffic jam and any other circumstances whatsoever.
12. Candidate should enter the examination hall 15 minutes before the commencement of examination and will not be allowed to leave the hall before expiry of ONE AND
HALF (1 ½) hour after the commencement of the examination.
13. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after 30 minutes from the commencement of the examination. However, all candidate has to submit their
answer sheet within the prescribed time and no extension of time will be allowed after the final bell for closing of exam.
14. The decision of the Examination Committee as to the eligibility of a candidate for admission to the examination shall be final. Their admission at all the stages of
examination for which they are admitted by the Examination Committee viz.: Written examination and interview will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the
prescribed eligibility conditions.
15. If, on verification at any time before or after the written examination and interview, it is found that they do not fulfil any of the eligibility conditions; their candidature for
the examination will be cancelled by the Examination Committee.
16. If a candidate during the course of examination, is found indulging in any unfair means at the examination then his/her result shall not be declared but shall marked as
UNFAIR MEANS. Further he/she may be debarred from appearing at any examination of the Bank in future.
17. This call letter/Admit Card does not constitute an offer of employment by State Bank of Sikkim.
