• Develop critical thinking skills.
• Understand how media messages shape our culture and society.

• Discover the parts of the story that are not being told.

5. In your opinion, how can communication be affected by media and information?
◦Media and information are part of communication process. Communication hugely
changed due to media platforms we use in conveying information, by this we find it
easier to encode and decode data instead of the in-person interaction. Just one click and
the information we needed and the means to communicate is ready to serve. But
regardless of its good effects, some experience the other way. Some lost their
communication skills, sometimes our internet access is not good and some
abbreviations, terms and new words are present which not all can understand that
resulted for the communication barrier to rise.
