Company Profile:
Company that I have chosen is – “TATA MOTORS”.
Tata Motors Limited is an Indian multinational automotive manufacturing company,
headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and part of Tata Group. The company
produces passenger cars, trucks, vans, coaches, buses, sports cars, construction
equipment and military vehicles.[4]
Formerly known as Tata Engineering and Locomotive Company (TELCO), the
company was founded in 1945 as a manufacturer of locomotives. The company
manufactured its first commercial vehicle in 1954 in a collaboration with Daimler-
Benz AG, which ended in 1969. Tata Motors entered the passenger vehicle market in
1988 with the launch of the TataMobile followed by the Tata Sierra in 1991,
becoming the first Indian manufacturer to achieve the capability of developing a
competitive indigenous automobile.[5] In 1998, Tata launched the first fully indigenous
Indian passenger car, the Indica, and in 2008 launched the Tata Nano, the world's
cheapest car. Tata Motors acquired the South Korean truck manufacturer Daewoo
Commercial Vehicles Company in 2004 and purchased Jaguar Land
Rover from Ford in 2008.
Tata Motors' principal subsidiaries include English premium car maker Jaguar Land
Rover (the maker of Jaguar and Land Rover cars) and the South Korean commercial
vehicle manufacturer Tata Daewoo. Tata Motors has a bus-manufacturing joint
venture with Marcopolo S.A. (Tata Marcopolo), a construction-equipment
manufacturing joint venture with Hitachi (Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery), and

Research Methodology:
The data has collected from the company through the questioners. Analysis
and the interpretation have been done by using the statistical tools and the
basis of the primary and secondary data.
Research Method:
The research based on the survey method and to find the level of the
satisfaction of the employees.
Sample design:
Sample design is the process of a work chart or a flow chart that define the
plan for obtaining the sample from the given population. Probability
sampling, Simple random sampling, convenience sampling are mainly used
for this survey for the study. It gives each element in the population an equal
probability of getting into the sample; and all choices are independent of one
another. It gives each possible sample combination an equal probability of
being chosen.
Sample size:
Here for the survey and study the sample size should be no longer so here
we collected the data of the 25-30 employees and on that basis we have done
the survey on the employee satisfaction.
Questioners:
Here for the study mainly based on the questioners. So here we have used
the open ended and close ended both type of questions, but we need to look
at the point that the quest should not for any harassment, should not be so
longer and should be time consumptions. Here the questioners should be
multiple choice and the LIKERT type questions and some open ended
questions and also some dichotomous questions are be there.
So here some sample of questioners that has uses to do this survey on the
employee satisfaction level.
