Focus on Classroom Practice

Motivation is a need for it leads to a goal and it energizes both teachers and students achieving
the desired outcome of the learning process. Teachers can play a vital role in providing and encouraging
intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in their learners at all levels of their education. It is harder than it
sounds, as each student is motivated differently, and it takes time and a lot of effort to create a
classroom full of children who are interested in learning, working hard, and pushing themselves to
succeed. It is very challenging keeping the motivation on track at the classroom due to differences and
experiences of learners from their homes, culture and environment and assist the students in narrowing
down the goals set as much as necessary and comparing them to their current level of proficiency.
Theories of motivation helps to make foundations of different kinds of scenario of facilitating students
with their differences the way they behave, discipline and to make progress in learning making it more
exciting and effective. Teachers become more competent and equip assessing students and their needs
it is vital for educators to be more aware of their responsibility, enhancing their skills and capabilities
delivering the content and instructions as part of the learning steps. These theories can make teachers
more creative, flexible and productive by making new ideas to cope up with the differences and uplift
motivation. Dealing the different kinds of personalities and scenarios in the classroom is a great
challenge by that motivation is a must yet it also addresses to different kinds of implications towards
its goal.

Classroom practice is a helpful way bridging differences to motivation, create powerful

interventions and practices that hold knowledge leading to well founded learning process. It is relevant
giving students’ performance and attributional feedback and teaching students learning techniques,
having learner’s express strategies as they apply them by linking students rewards to their learning
progress, and having students self-monitor and evaluate their learning progress. Classroom practice
benefits all aspects from the classroom up until to students’ homes, the learning they acquire will mold
them changing their outlook in life and even brings confidence and most importantly their motivation
that will lift them up to dream bigger. A classroom is not just a place to teach academics, this place is a
second home where we can meet new kind of world and a family we can lean on, there is differences
we can find in this place but there is only one thing we can be in one and that is to learn and share
motivation to each other to achieve our each other goals in life.

As a future teacher, classroom practice is like a handbook that will guide me on how to deal the
diversity of students that brings differences on them. I can say that it is a great challenge to inspire
them to stay motivated, as for me a teacher is not just a teacher it is more than to teach, we are like
mothers who only want what’s best for our students that even if we can find the difficulties we are not
allowed to give up but to stand firm and think of ideas for improvement. Thus, classroom practice is an
overview dealing differences and how to improve and uplift motivation.
