Open the cover of the adjustment buttons next to the display window on the Inverter. Note that the inverter is
the unit with the most connectors on it and could be located on either side.
The rotary switch should be at position 0, rotate it until it is at position 1. Confirm that the display next to the
adjustment buttons reads 10. If it does not, proceed no further. Record the value that is there, then turn the
switch back to 0 so that the machine can be used again. Contact Milltronics for further instruction on parameter
change.
If the display does read 10 when the rotary switch is at position 1, then turn it to position 2. This will display
the parameter number to adjust.
Using the buttons on the right side of the operator panel UP and DOWN to select the parameter value to adjust.
Select value 07. If the Up or DOWN button is held down the value will change faster than individual presses.
The values that are kept in switch positions 3 and 4 are the orient position expressed as a hexadecimal
value. When the switch is in position 3 the first two digits of the orient position can be adjusted. Switch
position 4 allows adjustment of the last 2 digits of the orient position.
The possible values at each position are 0-F, with A=10, B=11, C=12, D=13, E=14, and F=15.
The value can be between 0-4095 decimal, with 4095 equaling 0FFF in hexadecimal.
Rotate the switch to position 3 or 4, depending upon which digit is to be edited. Adjust at switch position 4 for
small amounts of change. Adjust at position 3 for larger changes.
Press the lower left SET button. The parameter value will begin to blink very fast. It can now be adjusted with
the up and down arrows.
Press the Lower Left SET button to accept the change. The display will begin to flash slowly again.
Return the rotary switch back to position 0. Power off the spindle drive and power it back up again by opening
and closing the fuse holder 25A or 25C, or simply power down the machine.
